As the biggest city in central Florida, Orlando is ranked as the 3rd US destination for overseas travelers, after Los Angeles and New York City. Lake Eola is in the northeastern part of the city. Orlando is 6km from Universal Studios, 16km from Sea World, and 32km from Walt Disney World, all located southwest of downtown in an area appropriately known as the Tourist Quarter.
The most attraction place in the city is the Walt Disney World, the world's biggest amusement resort, which is one of the world's top tourist destinations and attracts more than 20 million visitors a year. It covers an area twice the size of New York's Manhattan. This fantastic world has four main parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom) and three water parks, etc. The city also has the most technologically advanced theme park ever designed, Universal's Islands of Adventure, where you can recover the lost world in Jurassic Park. Orlando has a highly efficient and inexpensive public transportation system, including a free downtown circuit. Schedules and maps are available at the Lynx Bus Center. If your hotel is in Disney world, you can take free shuttle buses from hotels to all theme parks. If you want to travel around the city, the best way is to rent a car. Car hire here is relatively cheap compared to most places.

Orlando International Airport (MCO) services for the city. The airport is in the far southeastern corner of the city and is the largest in Central Florida. Mears Airport Shuttle is available from Orlando International Airport to your Walt Disney World. The Amtrak station is 1.6km south of Central Orlando. Amtrak runs direct services from Orlando to Miami, Gainesville and points to the north. Greyhound buses will take you to every major city in Florida.
